LeShaun Williams, MSN, FNP-C, FPA, is a board-certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, a recognition by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. LeShaun is licensed for Full-Practice Authority in Illinois. She brings over 25 years of nursing experience. She has dedicated the last decade to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients across age groups and cultivating strong relationships in the community.
LeShaun is adept in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and managing treatment plans with accuracy and diligence.
Prior to joining the Center for Better Aging (CBA), LeShaun performed in-home and virtual health risk assessments for older adults at Signify Health, contributing to the development of personalized healthcare plans. Her clinical background includes institutions such as Oak Street Health, New Southtown Medical Group, and Advocate Medical Group.
LeShaun's expertise is enriched by her commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Her knowledge of the latest advancements in healthcare enables her to implement evidence-based practices and provide holistic care to her patients.
In her capacity with CBA, LeShaun was featured in a U.S. News & World Report article in October 2024, What Is a Skilled Nursing Facility vs. a Nursing Home? Before her pursuit of a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, LeShaun was honored with a DAISY Foundation Award at Rush University Medical Center, recognizing her exceptional and compassionate care for patients and their families.
